A modern resort hotel, The Hotel Volga lies 50 metres from the busy centre of Calella, 100 metres from the beach and 50 kilometres from Barcelona. The four-floor hotel offers 135 guestrooms, all of which include air conditioning, telephones and satellite television. Each guestroom features an en suite shower or bathroom. Rooms are simply decorated in pastel shades with cool tiled floors and open onto balconies with views of the sea or the pool.
After a day spent lounging by the pool, guests can sip cocktails at the circular and enjoy entertainment including flamenco and magic shows, which is provided five days and four evenings a week. From July to August, children can also be entertained with a mini-club, which runs three days a week, and swim in their own area of the outdoor pool. For business guests, a conference room situated 25 metres from the hotel with a 270-person capacity can be booked for a fee. Parking is also available at a fee. Staff are on hand to help book excursions around the city and advise on shopping, museums and local sports amenities. Local attractions include a medieval castle 20 kilometres away, while the Gran Palace offers an evening of Flamenco 25 kilometres from the hotel. Both Montserrat and Barcelona are within 45 kilometres. Barcelona Airport is 50 kilometres from the hotel.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
A train service runs from Barcelona Airport to Calella Station, costing approximately 2.10 EUR. Taxis operate from this station to the hotel. A taxi from Barcelona to the hotel costs approximately 112 EUR. A tourist mini- train in Calella circulates the town every 25 minutes. There are three bus stops on the main coastal highway (no buses circulate the town), running services to Barcelona two or three times a day. Trains to Barcelona run every 15 minutes until 10 PM.
From Barcelona Airport, head for Girona and take the C-32. Turn off at the exit for Calella, Pineda and Malgrat.
