Located one block from Plaza Catalunya, Hotel Inglaterra is a quiet boutique-style hotel housed in a six-story building with wrought iron balconies. It is situated two blocks from Las Ramblas and the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art and 250 metres from the Gothic Quarter. The 55 air-conditioned guestrooms are light and uncluttered, and decorated in beige with floor-to-ceiling drapes and light wood furnishings. Large wooden headboards are inlayed with white panels displaying Japanese characters. Rooms vary in shape and size but all have cable TV with pay movies, dial-up Internet access (surcharge), and air conditioning. The grey marble bathrooms feature handheld showers, hair dryers, and magnifying mirrors.
The hotel's roof terrace offers a tranquil sanctuary above one of Barcelona's busiest districts. It is decorated with plants of various shapes and sizes and has sun-loungers, parasols, tables, and chairs. There is restaurant which serves buffet breakfasts and has a Mediterranean à la carte menu for lunch and dinner. The bar serves drinks and light snacks throughout the day. The nearest metro stations are Universitat and Plaza Catalunya and Barcelona Airport is 13 kilometres away.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
The airport train station is a short walk from the terminals, via a covered walkway. There are train services from the airport to the city centre every 30 minutes. There is also an Aerobus service to Plaça Catalunya every 12 minutes. Taxis are available in front of the airport terminals and cost around 20 EUR to the centre.
