Shutter-fronted Hotel Advance is located in central Barcelona, 100 metres from Placa Catalunya and two kilometres from Gaudi's Sagrada Familia. This five-floor hotel features 36 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which include satellite television, direct-dial phones, Internet access (surcharge), minibars, safes and private bathrooms with telephones and hairdryers. Guestrooms are furnished in a soft, modern design and extend to balconies.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area such as Raco d'en Cesc and Reding. Several of the city's attractions are within easy walking distance including Passeig de Gracia and Casa Batllo (both 200 metres). Barcelona Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel and takes around 25 minutes by car.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
The airport train station is a short walk from the terminals, via a covered walkway. There are train services from the airport to the city centre every 30 minutes. There is also an Aerobus service to Placa de Catalunya every 12 minutes. From here transfer to the metro and head for the Universitat station which is 200 metres from the hotel. The hotel can arrange transport to/from the airport (surcharge) and taxis are available in front of the airport terminals, with fares to the hotel costing around EUR20.
When driving from the airport, follow motorway signs to the city centre ('Centre Ciutat'). Once in the city the motorway becomes Gran Via. Continue along this road until Muntaner and take the first right onto Sepulveda Street.
