DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Trains and yellow and black taxi cabs are available for transfe
r from the airport to the centre of Barcelona. The Aerobus also
serves terminals A and B and takes passengers to Plaza Catalun
ya and Plaza Espanya in central Barcelona. The extensive underg
round train system (the Metro) connects the hotel with the rest
of central Barcelona with most journeys taking less than 20 mi
nutes. The Metro station closest to the hotel is Jaume I. The h
otel can give advice on local bus services and order yellow and
black taxi cabs on request.
Driving directions: From
Barcelona Airport take the highway, direction Barcelona. Then
follow the A2 Barcelona ring road. Turn off at Exit 21 and take
Las Ramblas (a wide boulevard) toward the Gothic Quarter. Foll
ow signs for the cathedral and the hotel is just off the cathed
ral square on Avenida de la Catedral.
